Dear Doctor and Colleague,

Please allow us a moment to introduce ourselves. Dr. Spencer Luth and Dr. Greg Heideman opened the Luth & Heideman Center for Dental Care in March 2007. The center is quite different from most dental offices.

Dr. Luth and Dr. Heideman have invested themselves heavily in continuing education to offer many services not typically found in a dental office setting. We would like to describe these services to you and invite you to refer your patients to our office if they require any of these services that you yourself do not provide. 

TMD Diagnosis-
Many patients believe they have “TMJ” but most do not. We can determine if your patient truly has a disorder of the Temporomandibular Joint (10%) or if it is something else such as an occlusal-muscle problem (90%). We are comfortable with many types of imaging including CT and MRI.

Correcting a Patients Bite-
Long term use of splints are rarely needed—we believe in providing conservative and predictable treatment to correct most occlusal problems without the need of long term splint use.

Tension Headache, Bruxism, or Clenching Analysis-
Headaches occur for a variety of reasons, what is important is diagnosing the source, or at least ruling out possible causes. If your patients are not improving we would love to see if there is a dental relationship to their pain.

Idiopathic Pain Diagnosis-
Many patients come in with pain or symptoms that are difficult to diagnose. We have excellent diagnostic equipment and training. Such as enhanced digital imaging, Doppler or Ultrasound diagnostics, Laser detection of decay, Digital Photography, CT Scanning, etc.

Oral Cancer Evaluation-
We use the Velscope in our office which allows us to see clearly the difference between healthy oral tissues and those that would be of concern. If your not sure about what your looking at please send your patient to our office for this simple and painless test.

Full Mouth Rehabilitation-
We are excited to be here in the Las Vegas community and look forward to meeting and working with many of you. We are happy to see any of your patients and discuss their needs with you.
